Please send this Letter to your Sheriff … Oath Keepers and the SAF!

Here is a letter to send to your Sheriff’s…

Dear Sheriff ________________,

As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in  _______________County you were required to take an oath to preserve,  protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic.   Having taken that oath I would like to know if you will honor your oath by refusing to enforce Federal rules, regulations and  directives that violate the Constitution and/or the Bill of Rights.

The  Second Amendment clearly proclaims that the people have a right to own  guns and in the Bill of Rights, the government is prohibited from  infringing on the right of the people to own guns if they choose to do  so. Your primary job is to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution and the rights of the people that live in ______________ County.

The  Supreme Court has ruled that the Federal government has no lawful  jurisdiction in the counties and that when a Sheriff chooses to enforce  an unconstitutional directive, he is violating his Constitutional Oath.

The people of _______________ County are the employer and you are the  employee and we expect you to represent us and not the Federal  government. As your employer, I would like to know if you are given an  order that violates the Constitution, will you honor your oath or will  you do as directed by the President of the United States.

Sincerely,_________________

Just rewrite it and send it to him and get as many friends as you can to send them too. It will be important to know who is a constitution supporting sheriff and who is not. Maybe we could collate a list ofnthose that are not. I do not have great faith in many local sheriffs in large counties here in Florida.

Fred, thanks for the letter – I will be sending it to my sheriff.

Are you able to provide the case information for “The Supreme Court has ruled that the Federal government has no lawful jurisdiction in the counties and that when a Sheriff chooses to enforce an unconstitutional directive, he is violating his Constitutional Oath.”? Not doubting you, but I’d like to read it for myself.

    Thanks again!

Hi Julie. I have pasted the information you wanted below:

Most people, including politicians fail to realize that the ultimate legal authorities in the land are the county sheriffs. This was established from the time of the Founding Fathers and upheld by the US Supreme Court in the 1997 case of Printz v. United States. Initially, the case was Mack v. United States, but by the time it reached the Supreme Court it was renamed.

The case involved new federal regulations involved with the Brady Bill and gun control. FBI agents went around to the various county sheriffs and demanded that they follow the new federal guidelines. Then Graham County (AZ) Sheriff Richard Mack and several others saw the Brady Bill as being unconstitutional and refused to impose the new federal guidelines. Part of their defense was that the county sheriff was the supreme law enforcement officer over their county and that the federal government could not supersede their legal authority.

I hope this helps! In Liberty and friendship,
      Fred Brownbill.
