The SAF Presidents’ reply to the Obama State of the Union Address.

Like a lot of my fellow Americans, I sat through about one tough hour of the State of the Union Address by President Barack Hussein Obama last night, and listened to the series of ego driven, half truths and exagerations spewing forth like the water pouring over the precipice of Niagra Falls.  Oh, he read the speech very well off his tele prompters and his adoring progressive left wing fans like his racist AG, Eric Holder, jumped up and down on cue clapping furiously, while his  number 2, his  VP, Joe Biden, nodded occasionally in between rubbing his face and scratching his nose, like a wise old owl.  I am not too sure poor old Joe really understood too much of what was being said!  And then there was Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the DNC, and a rabid supporter of the president and all things progressive, fawning over him like a sick school girl. Yes, they were all there on show for us, nodding sagely, all believing in the change.  They almost had the look of  drug induced cult members who do not have to think for themselves, but just follow the King Obama line and all will be good and well throughout the land! 

I have to admit, I still do not understand why the two sides of the House still have “Date Nights” at these events, sitting together like old friends, when in theory, their ideology is a million miles apart.  I say in theory, because it appears that really, the two parties lately do not have many differences. It appears to all who study it, that the lines between the two parties are very close indeed, both taking America down the same road of destruction and loss of identity.  Sure, they puff out their little chests now and again, some may even beat those puffed out chests and say some mean things, but overall, America is where it is now because of both republicans and democrats who have between them removed common sence, morality, religion, decency, pride, family unity, church aid, charity etc and replaced it with a dependancy on the Federal Government which is set up to totally control our lives.

Anyway, let us look at the substance of this speech from our Great and all wise Supreme Leader, whose use of the words my, mine, me and I etc were striking. I guess he just needs to remind us it is all about him!

Let us look at his claim that the Taliban was broken.  I do not believe that for a moment. I believe they are waiting for further troop withdrawals to come out and continue their evil work there.  They still have a backer in Packistan and I agree with experts that they are waiting their time.

Next came to his personal intervention and draconian action against cheap tire imports from China which created or saved 1100  jobs here.  He introduced a tarriff of 35% on these tires coming in from China which reduced greatly the number being imported, but like in any other economy driven by price, supply and demand, cheap tires from other countries like Thailand, Mexico etc soon came flooding in reducing domestic tire manufactering.  Then the President did not mention the shut down of companies that had spent their all in setting up for the importation and distribution of the Chinese Tires and the loss of jobs there.  So that 1100 new job created line may  have been another untruthful claim!

Next, boots on the ground on the Border. Wow, he made some great sounding claims here if they had only been factual. Between fiscal years 2005 and 2009, the period under George W Bush, boots on the border went from 11,264 to 20119.  Under Obama, the total now is 21,444 which to me is a modest increase and not the major one he announced last night.  Now, truthfully, under Obama, arrests have slowed, but the collapsing job market and the economic woes have made America a less attractive place for the illegals to come to. Also, he has introduced much more friendly illegal immigrants rules of engagement for our boys and girls on the border than prior as he seems more to encourage this illegal activity than deplore it.  He even made parts of our sovereign territory a no go area as it was too unsafe for Americans!!!  

You can see this in the Federal Law suits his administration are fighting against the frontline States most affected by the illegal immigrants who want to tighten up the laws as opposed to this Regimes desires to make it easiier.  Our partner, the Thomas More Law Group are defending these States against the Federal Governments legal team fielded by our racist and so very corrupt AG himself, Mr Eric Holder.  You can hit their link on our home page for updates.

His next claim to have approved of less regulations in his first 33 months than the previous President is actually correct!!!  He approved of just over 30 less than did President Bush, but what he omitted to add, which would have put that statement more into context for all those bravely listening, was that the Obama regulations came at a massivly increased cost.  See this post from Bloomberg News:     “Bloomberg News, Oct. 25, 2011: The number of significant federal rules, defined as those costing more than $100 million, has gone up under Obama, with 129 approved so far, compared with 90 for Bush, 115 for President Bill Clinton and 127 for the first President Bush over the same period in their first terms.”

Now, his next topic was drilling, and how American oil production was up the highest in a decade, and our dependance on foreign oil was down significantly. OK, where to start with this one?  He is right in the number of barrels being drilled, 7782  a day up to October, 2011.  On foreign oil dependancy, we have gone down to 45.4% which is higher than the previous low  in 1995 of  44.5%. Now, two major factors could account for this, one being greatly reduced demand due to the economy and the number of unemployed, and the highest price in history that Americans have had to pay for gas at the pumps, averaging $3.521 during the year 2011.  Not the glowing report as spoken by the president! 

Interestingly, he never mentioned the Keystone Oil Pipeline from Canada which he is refusing to allow to be built, at the cost of tens of thousands of potential well paying jobs, even while Canada, a supposed ally, is threatening to send their oil to Asia instead of here if it is not built.  Nor did he mention his Administrations refusal to issue actual drilling permits as opposed to environmental study permits so we can actually start getting oil up and into refineries and onto the domestic market place where it can start bringing down the price of gas that hard up Americans are paying at the pumps.

Next a subject close to the hearts of millions of Americans, Jobs, or should I say lack of them. He was correct saying that over 3 million new jobs have been created in the private and the manufacturing sector, but what he failed to mention was that there are still just under 2 million more people unemployed than when he took office and more than 6 million more than at the peak of the Bush Administration!!

So once again, we, the people have been fed a load of half truths from an oil snake salesman, community organizer, Marxist in Chief con man. With all my contacts with special force members and other military, I was insulted to hear his constant usage of comparing the Government to the Military and how to get the job done. This from a man who does not like the Military who in turn does not support him, as the money flowing into this 2012 Presidential race from active and retired military is predominately going to the Ron Paul Campaign.

The Save America Foundation has a picture of a modern America, and it differs totally from that of our current and hopefully short term peoples house resident. We see a grossly smaller Federal Government that does not interfere in every part of our lives, from what we eat to what air we breath and what car we drive. We see a future with no Federal Reserve and our money having a solid backing of gold. We see  a large number of Federal Agencies closed, like the Department of Education, the EPA, the TSA and the ATF to name just a few which need to go or be combined and reduced in size. We see a future when all the current traitors who have broken their Oaths are arrested and prosecuted, starting from the top of the pack (suggest starting with Eric Holder) on down. We see Obamacare gone, the Patriot Act gone, the NDAA gone, Agenda 21 gone, the UN closed and removed from these beautiful shores, we see our removal from NATO, our huge foreign aid drastically cut or completely stopped, our nearly 1000 world wide military bases almost totally closed and our men and women bought home to guard American borders, where  illegals are all arrested and deported as the criminals they are. It is not Americas fault that there is a new generation  grown up here who were bought in illegally, they all need to be deported and lets say that they should blame their parents and not America who never invited them in anyway. In short we see a return to the Constitution where the power of the States is more powerful than the Federal Government, where important social decisions are made at state level and not by lying, cheating, corrupt, totally self serving so called politicians or representatives  in Washington DC who mostly appear to represent their own self interests. We see County Sheriffs running their counties as the constitutional chief law enforcement officials, telling any Federal Government people what they can and cannot do in those individual counties.
